Batson Tree Lighting Ceremony

Patients and their families gathered in the children’s hospital lobby on Tuesday, December 4th to celebrate the annual Tree-Lighting Celebration. Ballet Mississippi performed excerpts from The Nutcracker for patients and the Chick-Fil-A Santa and Elf Cows stopped by to visit too. Ballet Mississippi and Area Schools Partner for Children’s Hospital

As part of their partnership with the BankPlus Light-A-Light Project, Ballet Mississippi promoted the holiday project to area schools. Several schools raised funds for Friends of Children’s Hospital and presented the funds to David Keary, Artistic Director for Ballet Mississippi and Melanie Schade, Program Administrator for Friends following a special performance of The Nutcracker at Thalia Mara Hall for schoolchildren. Mercedes-Benz of Jackson donates car for raffle

Mercedes-Benz of Jackson has donated a vintage Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet to be raffled during the 19th Annual Trustmark Children’s Hospital Pro-Am Golf Tournament. The limited-edition black convertible is in terrific condition and has fewer than 60,000 miles. Tickets are $100 each and are on sale now. You can purchase tickets at Mercedes-Benz of Jackson, The Rogue, all 3 participating tournament courses or by calling the Friends office at 601-984-5273. More
